Dan Luedke has been playing guitar for over 15 years. He developed a love for making music on guitar in the small Alaskan fishing town of Port Alexander where he grew up and began by teaching
himself his favorite pop and classic rock songs by looking up guitar tablature
online. Since then Dan has branched out into other styles such as Americana,
Blues, Folk, American Fingerstyle, and Latin Guitar and has earned a B.A. in Music
from the Hartt School of Music while studying classical guitar.
Dan has seven years of experience teaching both school age students and adults at his private studio in Saint Paul, at his students' homes as well as in group classes through Saint Paul Community Education. In addition to teaching, Dan writes, records and produces music for film/TV. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling (especially home to Alaska), playing cribbage and taking in the local music scene.
